Ordering & customization
What kind of photo should I upload?
Upload a sharp, high-resolution photo at least 1000px on its shortest side — most photos straight from a phone camera work great. Bright, in-focus shots print best. For the crispest result we aim for 300 DPI on the finished magnet, and the editor will warn you if a crop looks too soft.
How big are the magnets?
Every magnet is a 2" × 2" square with a high-gloss finish.
Can I turn my kid’s artwork into a magnet?
Yes. Drawings and paintings make beautiful magnets — just photograph or scan the artwork and upload it the same way you would a photo.
Do you sell sets?
Yes. The Gift Set of Six includes six 2" × 2" magnets in a kraft gift box wrapped with organic lavender. You can also order single Classic and Kid Art magnets individually.
Shipping & turnaround
When will my order ship?
Every magnet is handmade to order, then shipped as soon as it’s ready. You’ll get a tracking email the moment it goes out.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a $5 flat rate, and it’s free on orders over $35. We ship to addresses within the United States.
How do I track my order?
Use the order tracker and enter your order number plus the email you used at checkout — both are in your confirmation email. Once your order ships, the tracking number appears there too.
Will my order arrive by Christmas?
Order by December 11 and standard shipping delivers by Christmas — that covers up to 4 handmade production days plus USPS transit. December 14 is last call with Priority Mail. After that, order anyway and print our free gift announcement card to give on the day while your magnets are being made.

What are the magnets made of?
Each magnet has a high-gloss finish and a strong magnet on the back that won’t slide. They’re made by hand in the USA and arrive cellophane-wrapped.
Are they really handmade?
Yes — we’re a small family business and every magnet is made by hand, just for you.

Do orders arrive gift-ready?
Every order ships cellophane-wrapped and nestled in a kraft gift box — no assembly required, ready to give the moment it arrives.
What makes the Gift Set special?
The Gift Set of Six arrives in a custom kraft gift box wrapped with organic lavender sprigs, so it’s ready to give as a present.
Can you ship straight to the person I’m gifting?
Yes. Enter the recipient’s address at checkout and your magnets ship directly to them, gift-ready. Prices never appear on anything inside the package.
Can I add a gift note?
Yes — there’s an optional gift note field at checkout, and we tuck your message into the package.
Business, parties & bulk
Do you make magnets for businesses?
Yes. We make hand-pressed QR code and logo magnets that put your review page, menu, or booking link on customer fridges. Bulk pricing starts around $8 each at 25 magnets and drops with volume — see the Business page for typical tiers and a quote form.
Do you do kids’ birthday parties?
Yes. Kids color a blank magnet template and we fold and press their artwork into a real 2" magnet on the spot — no camera or printer needed. Hosted parties typically start around $30 per child with a 10-child minimum; there’s also a free printable template on the Events page.
Can our school use magnets for a fundraiser?
Yes. We wholesale spirit and logo magnets priced so your group keeps more than half at a typical $8–$10 resale, and we can bring a decorate-your-own magnet station to your fall festival. Use the quote form on the Business page.
Returns
What’s your return policy?
Because every magnet is custom-printed with your personal photos, all sales of custom products are final. But if an order arrives damaged or with a printing error on our end, email hello@augustnalways.com within 14 days of delivery for a free remake or a full refund.
What if my photo prints blurry?
The editor warns you when a crop is too low-resolution to print sharply. Because blurry results from low-resolution source files are outside our control, we can’t refund or replace those — uploading a sharp photo at least 1000px on the shortest side avoids it.
